Hey, I want to tell you how to build a quick and easy antioxidant smoothie.  If you’ll take a few minutes, three times a day and make yourself one of these, you won’t believe how your energy level will increase and how much clearer you’ll think.

Believe me, after doing this for only 30 days, you’ll be hooked and your friends will be asking you what you’re doing that has made such an incredible change in your life.

Here’s how you do it:

First thing you want to do is determine which fruit and/or veggies you want to build your smoothie out of.  Just look at your Superfoods list and choose one, two, three or as many fruits and/or vegetables as you want. Keep in mind that the more fruits or vegetables that you use, the fewer you will need. What I do is pick one the highest of the antioxidant berries, like pomegranate (in which case, I just use some of the pure juice) or blueberries.  I also usually put in some type of nuts, like almonds or pecans (just a few).  I then take a few more fruits that I know are great tasting and have tremendous antioxidant qualities. I always add at least one veggie in there too, like cauliflower or broccoli.

Chunk these all into a blender or a “smoothie mixer.”

Now, you need to determine what kind of base you’re going to use to, you know, thicken up your smoothie a little.  I usually use a plain vanilla frozen yogurt.  You’ll need about half a cup. Again, into the blender it goes along with the stock of antioxidant foods.

At this time you just take a handful of ice and place it into the blender as well.

If you want to add any other types of nutrition based ingredients such as extra protein powder, etc. throw a little of that in too.

Now, put the top on and start your blend.  It will have a rather thick consistency as it blends down.  A good idea here is to add about three ounces of ice cold water (only if it’s thicker than you like it).  Let it blend for about 30 to 40 seconds.

You should then have a nice incredibly healthy and nutritious (not to mention delicious) smoothie that, when drunk quickly, will give you a boost of energy like you’ve never had before.

Do this about three times a day and you’ll be hooked.

Don’t forget to vary your antioxidant foods (use the Superfoods list) and juices for a great variety of amazingly tasty energy/health drinks.

If you combine these with a decent exercise routine (heck, with all that new energy you’ll want to do something with it) and a low calorie and healthy diet, you’ll not only feel great but will acquire other great benefits as well, like losing weight and living healthier and longer!
